another assignment from my narrative illustration class with Kazu Sano [link] : choose a list of of given songs and illustrate

i ended up choosing "Ohio" by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (1970) - the song is basically about the Kent State University shootings where US National Guards opened fire on unarmed college students protesting the Vietnam (Cambodia?) war -

i did a couple of different versions of this and eventually ended up using a hunt 102 nib on a recommendation from my other teacher Walden Wong [link]

i think i really dig this nib - can do some fine linework with it!
